The epitome of a Seattle walk up coffee stand. Great coffee, very good breakfast sandwiches, awesome people. It has the plus of technically being indoors so not as cold and wet as tradition would dictate, but cramped enough to make clear that you need to move along once your order is ready. Unfortunately the friendly staff might slow you down and warm up your insides anyway.
Walked in and was greeted kindly. Bought a cappuccino and an early gray cookie. Coffee is very good quality and their bakery items are splendid. I will definitely come here again!

As a nurse at Kaiser where this cafes located, my coworkers and I love Overcast! They don’t make a bad drink here! I’m a fussy caffeine consumer and typically almost always find issues with my drinks from your standard cafe. I’ve tried multiple drinks from their menu here and never been disappointed! Mocha, latte, or matcha, they do amazing with everything! If you’re someone who likes some sweetness but not too much, it’s pretty perfect, I usually never have to ask for adjustment (minus the mocha which by definition is supposed to be very sweet). Quality ingredients, great playlist and vibe.
The coffee here is DELICIOUS and I appreciate the hours, so I can stop by after work. Before moving to Seattle, I went here multiple times and it definitely played a part in moving here for the coffee scene. Highly recommend their Americano with oat milk.
